Remembering Lauren Dill

Dear TSJCL Community,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that Lauren Dill passed away on November 10, 2021. She was a beacon of joy in all of our lives and a true rock that everyone in our organization could lean on. She was the best mentor, teacher, sponsor, and friend that any of us could have ever hoped to know. 

In addition to the resources provided by your school and school counselor(s), here are some resources that you should feel free to take advantage of:

The Christi Center offers online groups in the evenings that are free. The website has all the information about how to get started and join a group.

The Austin Center for Grief and Loss provides both individual and group services. Their fees for individual services are on a sliding scale based on income. Groups cost $75 to join, but there is no ongoing fee.
